1. MCB support has provided the continuity needed to sustain my lab’s basic research efforts and encourage our collaborations near and far. 25 years and counting, I believe!

2. MCB enabled my undergraduates to publish major discoveries on the evolution of acid stress and multidrug resistance. A recent student went on to investigate placental microbiomes at NYU. Another student went to Johns Hopkins to study toxoplasma in schizophrenia.
